Chapter 27
This movie highlights what happened before John Lennon was tragically killed. Directed by J.P. Shaefer, it shows the last three days of Mark David Chapman's life, portrayed by Jared Leto. Chapman, who is a huge fan of the Beatles, and especially Lennon, heads to New York to see his hero. But near the Dakota Building where Lennon lives, it becomes apparent that Chapman's filled with deep anger. When he meets Jude, played by Lindsay Lohan, another Lennon fan, it shows how troubled his mind is getting. The film dives into Chapman's mental struggle and what led to this horrible event. With great acting and intense storytelling, "Chapter 27" creates a dark and heavy mood that sticks with you.
